OOTD: FashionWeek Amsterdam

As promised in my previous post, here is my Outfit Of The Day (OOTD) post at the Mercedes-Benz FashionWeek Amsterdam. The event was held in the Gasholder building at the Westergasfabriek. The Westergasfabriek located in Amsterdam used to be a gas factory in the 19th century that closed in 1967 and is now a beautiful city park, with the historic factory buildings rented out for events.

Here are the pictures of the outfit I wore to the catwalk show of Dorhout Mees during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion week Amsterdam with tickets I won from F.A.L.L. Magazine. I decided to go with a classic look and wear a white top with a black skirt and black pumps. To give the outfit a touch of my personality, I paired of the outfit with a multi-colored necklace that I bought during my day trip to Oss and a sparkly flower petal hair ornament to go with my afro hair puff hairstyle.

My fashionWeek Amsterdam experience ended with me taking a ride in the Mercedes-Benz Hummer styled black G-Class car. In 2014 Mercedes-Benz became the title partner for Amsterdam Fashion Week and during this FashionWeek edition they had black G-Class cars bringing visitors from the parking lot to Gasholder building and back. (because you know those louboutin shoes aren't made for walking, right? LOL) I have never been in a G-Class car before and was very excited to take a ride in one even if it was a short one.

My journey2fashion started with me attending my first Amsterdam Fashion Week, which you can read about here and every time I attend an edition of Amsterdam Fashion Week, it always reminds why I started this journey and that fashion is an every evolving world.

The Mercedes-Benz FashionWeek Amsterdam has ended but pictures and recap of all the shows can be viewed online on their website, link here.
