I seem to be enjoying shopping more and more. That is something I never thought I would ever hear myself say. Even going to fitting room like a million times just to see how the clothes fit is becoming second nature to me. My last shopping trip was to the Designer Outlet Roermond, which is a shopping area in the city of Roermond (30 minutes from Dusseldorf) that is filled with about 200 designer outlet stores such as Prada, Gucci, Armani, Burberry and many others.
Outlet shopping is always fun, especially if you are looking for designer clothing on a budget. Most of the high end designer outlet stores in Roermond sell their previous collections at discounted prices, which if you are a bargain hunter is a real treat. Even though I went to the outlet with nothing special to buy, I did not return home empty handed.
After a long day of browsing through different stores, I went in to the Ralph Lauren store. I knew the store was famous for its polo shirts, but I was really taken aback seeing so many men shopping for polo shirts. I guess there is little bit of shopaholic in all of us, even men. After passing through the men's department on the first floor, I went to the second floor of the store where the women's department was. There I found a white cardigan. At first I was very hesitant as white is not my most favourite colour and also I had doubts if their sizing would fit a curvy lady like me. By some miracle they still had the largest size available, which when I tried on just fit perfectly. But what really made me love the cardigan was how soft and warm it felt. The fact that it was 70% off also did help make up my mind to purchase it as well.

I would encourage everyone to take a trip to the Designer Outlet Roermond, whether it is to buy that special designer bag or basic key clothing pieces or even if it just to browse and get some fashion inspiration. You will definitely enjoy a day shopping there.
